The Children’s Ministry is thriving here at St. Alban’s! We welcomed a new Children’s Ministry Intern, Cameron Lowry, to our team this year, and she has been doing a wonderful job teaching the Sunday schoolers about the fruit of the spirit. Every Sunday we begin Sunday school with singing and dancing together with Mrs. Noelle. The children begin their class with the “prayer box”, each writing their own prayer for the upcoming week. After this we learn a new lesson about God’s word with fun activities and end with a craft giving them the opportunity to express their creativity and what they learned that day. We’re looking forward to a fun trip to the Barn Hill Preserve Pumpkin Patch, and a Christmas Party Parents’ Night Out in December.
The nursery is always jumpin’ with our adorable and rambunctious toddlers and preschoolers — we’re excited to have more of our high school students involved in helping with the nursery care this year!
We provide a “one-room-schoolhouse” style Sunday School program for children in grades K-5 during the 10:30 Sunday morning service at St. Alban’s, as well as nursery care for babies through 5 years old. Noelle Allison (thealgals@gmail.com) is the Director of Children’s Ministries at St. Alban’s Chapel and Cameron Lowry is the Children’s Ministry Intern.
