The Mission of the Episcopal Church on college and university campuses in the Diocese of Louisiana is the evangelical presence and presentation of the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  This mission is accomplished in an environment of reverent worship, open inquiry, intellectual challenge, spiritual honesty, devoted leadership, and physical safety. The university community is the primary focus of Episcopal ministries on campuses in the Diocese of Louisiana. As such, the liturgy and worship of the Chapel shall be designed especially to attract the university community, particularly the un-churched.
